Much of the season’s plot revolves around Carla’s steamy, enigmatic and surprising relationship with Samuel, who approaches her romantically in an attempt to have Carla divulge her knowledge of Marina’s murderer. And, of course, you can’t have drama without the infamous love triangle: Samuel and Guzmán, despite, uh, being in a long-distance relationship, vie for Ari’s attention (as if the snob princess didn't already have enough fueling her ego).Īnd, that’s just only a smidge of this season’s storylines. The heiress to her mother’s Marquesao de Caluereuga vineyard, Carla earns the nickname ‘ The Marchioness ‘ in season 2 of Elite. Couple Ander and Omar are finally (emphasis on finally) in a good place with their relationship until Patrick literally comes in the middle. Caye, Las Encinas’ resident con artist-turned-janitor, swears off of love, but finds herself involved in a Prince Charming fairytale. Rebe, who’s still angry with Samuel for leading her on, gets down and dirty with the youngest Commerford child.
Of course, the Commerfords and their devil-may-care attitudes spark up trouble for the returning characters: Rebe, Caye, Samuel, Ander, Omar, and Guzmán. Ari and Patrick, the twins, repeatedly cause trouble for their sister Mencía and vice versa. And, his children-Ari, Patrick, and Mencía-are, well, just as bad. Benjamín, the patriarch, and Las Encinas’ new principa,l makes life hell for the school students with his strict rules and dictatorship attitude. Unlike previous seasons, season 4 focuses entirely on a new family, the rich Commerfords. But, the drama, murder, and mystery have gotten even more intense in Netflix’s Spanish-language thriller, all thanks to the new characters in season 4. You would think that after three seasons, Elite might have toned down a notch.
